Bikes Bikes Everywhere

Tomorrow one of the biggest bike swap events in the country is happening. Over 9,000 sq feet of bike goods will be on display and available for purchase. Many smaller bike shops participate which is why its also great to attend because you are supporting small communities local economies when you shop small.

The Twin Cities Bike Swap is a wonderful family friendly event for those starting out with bikes or avid riders looking for unique parts and bicycle deals.

We have been attending the Bikes swap for many many years and find it to be a great place to not just see but learn about the bike community. Bikes in their entirety and parts are displayed on tables by sellers available to purchase. Sellers in this atmosphere are often willing to accept offers on products that may not otherwise be entertained. The other great part is that you have a fun opportunity to ask more questions of many different types of retailers as well as see unique bike items.

Jonny Rock often brings a handful of parts, apparel from our used bike part room which is housed in our Hopkins location to give passer through a taste of what we already offer in our store. We also bring bikes that are possibly left from previous seasons to sell at a discount.

The swap runs from 9 am to 2 pm on Sunday Feb 9th. At the Blaine Sports Center.
